Ammoudi port located, below Oia village just few minutes by car.

The Ammoudi port is the most important port for the citizens of Oia and Thirasia island.

Years ago the cargo ships started from Ammoudi port, carrying wine and other local products for the main cities of the world, also the ships use to stop near Ammoudi port and disembark the people with smaller boats. Nowadays, there are some small boats that connect frequently the Oia village with the Thirasia island, some local fisherman boats start for their daily catch and many catamaran and traditional boats offer tours to the guests of our island. Ammoudi is also famous for the finest fish restaurants and people from all over visit this small port to just to feast the local fish and plates.
You can also swim there if you like and visit the small church of Saint Nicolas.
The port is connected to Oia with steps and through street.
